Winter Day at the Beach

Spur of the moment urge to hop in the car and head east. First stop, the beach. I couldn't resist seeing how far out into the water I could walk without freaking out. That I would be swept away? No, drop my phone! Close call, that shot. Well, thoroughly refreshed as I now was by the crisp ocean air (ie, bone-chilling wind) I drove into Southampton village to warm up with a cup of coffee. Then stopped by Book Hampton, a great bookstore with a beautiful collection of design books, not to mention, a very nice staff - here, the proprietor sitting with a friend and his adorable pup. Coffee, a great bookstore, nice people and a beautiful winter beach. #thegoodthingsinlife
