See a story you like? Click on the storybox to see more. Inspired to re-create the story in your own way? Click remix to customize. You'll automatically be taken you to your dashboard.
Create
Welcome to your dashboard! On the left, you'll see images from the storybox you remixed, and any additional images you've added yourself (we call this sampling, and more on that later). On the right, you'll see your workspace. This is your canvas: add images, delete and/or resize them to your liking. More tips:
- Delete unwanted samples by hitting the “x” in the upper-right corner
- Add samples by dragging from the sample bank into the grid
- Re-size and re-shape samples by dragging the lower-right corner
- Re-position a sample by dragging the upper-left corner
Sample New Stuff
Want to add some content from the web? Install the sampler by dragging Storybox! into your browser’s bookmarks bar.
Once installed, go to any website and click on the sampler button. It will grab all images greater than 150x150 pixels. It also grabs tweets from Twitter!
Chrome users, if you don’t see your bookmarks bar, find the wrench in the upper right corner and in the drop-down menu find “Bookmarks” and check off “Show Bookmarks Bar”.
Share Your Story!
We provide buttons for sharing on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr, as well as an embedding feature for other blog systems and web pages.
If you see a story that you like, give it props! Comment on it, too. Follow your favorite story creators and get inspired to remix their stories into your own.
Spread the inspiration by weaving their stories into your own, and watch them weave your story, into theirs. It’s a fun way to see the stories grow!
